A scientific assessment model that objectively measures the conservation integrity of a place. We call this conservation achievement.
The need for such an assessment is to provide an independent guide or indicator for for tourists and visitors to assess the conservation integrity of that place.
A score that guides conscious travellers to places with a high conservation integrity, will channel valuable tourism dollars to these places, thus increasing tourism investment to conservation efforts.
This score will also reduce the incidence of places creating tourism experiences that lack conservation integrity. The project creates a focus on our collective need to understand the importance of conserving biodiversity.
